Skin cleansing is essential moving your makeup at night is an integral part of maintaining a bright complexion and avoiding acne and spots. Toning and moisturising after cleansing prove extremely beneficial of multiple levels. Lets us understand the importance of having regular cleansing, toning and moisturising routine.
Gentle and natural
Next, use a gentle cleanser which suits your skin type, and if you are not certain which is best-suited for you then you may visit some skin counters at local department stores for some guidance. Look for a skin cleansing lotion made with pure and natural botanical components since these are safer and much gentle to the skin.
Use tepid water to lather up the cleanser and help break down the makeup on your face. Do not scrub hard, but use the warm water and a small measure of the cleanser rub it into a lather to apply it gently over your face. Concentrate on the areas where you usually apply makeup. Spend at least sixty seconds going over your face assuring you’ve cleaned all areas. You should also clean your neck smoothly to help remove any remaining powder, perfume and daily dirt which has settled there.
Rinse, tone and dry
Now rinse your face several times with warm water to get rid of the applied cleanser and makeup residues from your face. You may enjoy using a facial chamois or warm wet washcloth instead, but remember not to scrub. You might prefer a splash of cold water on your face at the last stage to tighten your pores. Do not rub your face with a towel just gently pat your face dry.
Next, use a skin toner that best suits your skin type and does not irritate the skins delicate pH balance. Take a gentle toner containing natural cleansing agents rather than one with harsh chemical elements. You might be quite surprised at the amount of dirt will be removed with a cotton swab and toner. The toner lowers the skins pH level, soothes the skin. It also helps to balance your skin after cleansing and before applying a nice moisturising cream.
Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!
Don’t skip the moisturiser! Your skin wants to be replenished every night after a day of exposure to the environment with a makeup. Do not forget your lips. Use a powerful emollient-based product every night to keep your lips plump the next day. Your choice of moisturisers should combine natural components with proven results like aloe vera, jojoba, cocoa butter, shea butter, and of course, pure quality essential oils. Moisturising after toning improves skin elasticity, texture, fine lines, clarity, and wrinkles.
